Kofloc FM01 Vortex Flowmeter is a compact, high-precision inline vortex flow meter engineered for maintenance-free liquid flow measurement in industrial manufacturing, cooling water networks, and chemical processing lines. Operating on the Karman vortex shedding principle with zero moving parts, the Kofloc FM01 Vortex Flowmeter eliminates mechanical wear and pressure drops. Featuring a PPS resin or stainless steel body, an integrated digital LCD screen, 4–20mA analog output, and pulse telemetry, it delivers long-term reliable flow monitoring for low-viscosity fluids and pure water loops.

Technical Overview & Operation

The Kofloc FM01 Vortex Flowmeter operates on the Karman vortex street principle. As liquid flows past a bluff body (vortex shedder) inside the flow channel, alternating vortices are shed on downstream sides at a frequency directly proportional to fluid velocity.

An integrated piezoelectric or optical sensor detects these pressure oscillations, and the internal transmitter converts the shedding frequency into volumetric flow rate. Because the unit contains no moving gears or impellers, it resists particulate wear and maintains calibration stability over extended service lifetimes. The compact body footprint allows simple installation into space-constrained cooling loops, machinery manifolds, and chemical dosing lines.
