Wenglor P1KH009 Reflex Sensor Background Suppression

Wenglor P1KH009 Reflex Sensor Background Suppression the reflex sensor with background suppression works with laser light according to the angle measurement principle and is designed to detect objects against any background. The sensor always has the same switching distance, regardless of the color, shape, and surface of the objects.

Wenglor P1KH009 Reflex Sensor Background Suppression the reflex sensor with background suppression works with laser light according to the angle measurement principle and is designed to detect objects against any background. The sensor always has the same switching distance, regardless of the color, shape, and surface of the objects. The fine laser beam means that even the smallest parts, starting at 0.1 mm in size, can be reliably detected. The IO-Link interface can be used to configure the reflex sensors (PNP/NPN, NC/NO, switching distance), as well as for reading out switching statuses and distance values.

Applications

Dynamic Pressure Monitoring of Objects in Vibrating Spiral Conveyors Via Reflex Sensors with Background Suppression and IO-Link

In vibrating spiral conveyors, screws, rivets or bolts are separated via a spiral using vibration and transported away. In order to keep the dynamic pressure on the transfer station at the top end of the spiral to a minimum, the presence of the objects is monitored from above with a reflex sensor with background suppression. The response and fall time can be individually configured via the integrated IO-Link interface to pre-set necessary adjustments due to the vibration and different objects. This guarantees that the objects are reliably detected.

Reflex Sensors With Background Suppression

Reflex sensors with background suppression detect and measure objects contactlessly and detect them in front of any defined background. They work with red light, infrared light, blue light or laser light. Thanks to the principle of angle measurement, the color, shape and object surface have no influence on the switching behavior of the sensors.
