Description
Delta-Elektrogas MG Pressure Gauge for Gas
Delta-Elektrogas MG Pressure Gauge for Gas are robust instruments suitable for fast measurement on site. Different dimensions and materials allow us to find the proper solution for every installation. Delta-Elektrogas MG Pressure Gauge for Gas is available with display dimensions Ø63, Ø80, and Ø100. A button valve type ME can be installed to prevent damage due to pressure surges.
In 1961 Elettromeccanica DELTA s.p.a. was founded in Arcade (TV) with the aim of designing and manufacturing oil burners with mechanical atomization. Today, Elettromeccanica DELTA and its brand Deltapumps and Elektrogas are leading manufacturers of gear oil pumps and safety control valves, exported in more than 60 countries in the world.
Technical Overview & Operation
The Delta-Elektrogas MG Pressure Gauge for Gas operates using high-sensitivity mechanical measuring elements tailored to line pressure ranges. Low-pressure variants utilize a sensitive copper alloy capsule element, while higher-pressure versions employ a C-shaped Bourdon tube.
When gas pressure enters the threaded connection port, it expands the internal capsule or Bourdon tube. Precision clockwork movements translate this displacement into smooth, accurate pointer deflection across a high-contrast dual-scale dial ($mbar / kPa$ or $bar / PSI$). Housed in a steel or die-cast casing with a shatterproof acrylic window, the MG series isolates internal mechanisms from dust, vibration, and ambient plant moisture. Available in bottom-entry (radial) or back-entry (axial) mounting configurations with standard 1/4″ or 1/2″ NPT/BSP threads, it fits directly into gas valve manifolds, pressure regulators, and pipeline test ports.
