Gast 1UP-NRV-10 Air Motor The compact and portable 1AM/1UP series offers variable operating speed and power output that can be adjusted to meet the precise needs of your application. Their air throttling and pressure control is not only cost effective over electric motor controls, but they also can be stalled or overloaded for long periods without damaging the motor. In addition to being a non-electrical device and cool running, Gast air motors are ideal for use in hazardous and extreme ambient temperature locations.

Function

Bi-Directional Mechanical Drive: Converts compressed air into reversible rotary mechanical energy ( $0.80\text{ HP}$ max), allowing instant switching between Clockwise (CW) and Counter-Clockwise (CCW) rotation via a 4-way directional control valve.
Hazardous Area Power Source: Functions as a spark-free, non-electrical power unit for winches, mixers, and positioning systems operating in ATEX Zone 1 / Class I Div 1 environments.
Overload & Stall Protection: Functions continuously under high resistance or complete mechanical stall without thermal buildup or damage to motor vanes.
