Wenglor OTII802C0103 Reflex Sensor Energetic is the hygiene series from wenglor. The innovative design of InoxSens sensors allows contamination and cleaning agents to flow off by themselves. A variety of components form a complete system that integrates seamlessly into the machine. The laser-welded stainless steel housing made of V4A (1.4404/316L) is corrosion-free and resistant to cleaning agents. Gap-free mounting with InoxLock and the captive optics further contribute to these sensors’ optimal suitability for cleaning-heavy environments. The InoxSens sensors are set up with the help of touch teach-in and are made possible by the hermetically sealed housing.

Applications

Presence Check for Yogurt Pots with Reflex Sensors

In the production of yogurt, it is important to ensure that there is a pot in each recess of the indexing belt before applying the lids. Reflex sensors in hygienic design are installed above each position to check the presence of the pots from above. After each production, the indexing belts are cleaned via high-pressure jets and CIP cleaning. FDA compliant sensors can withstand these hygienic requirements. Thanks to their special stainless steel 316L design, all water drops flow off and the lenses do not fog up. The sensors are watertight (IP68/IP69K).
