Gast 1AM-NCC-12 Air Motor The compact and portable 1AM/1UP series offers variable operating speed and power output that can be adjusted to meet the precise needs of your application. Their air throttling and pressure control is not only cost effective over electric motor controls, but they also can be stalled or overloaded for long periods without damaging the motor. In addition to being a non-electrical device and cool running, Gast air motors are ideal for use in hazardous and extreme ambient temperature locations.

Core Operational Features

Explosion-Proof & Intrinsically Safe: Generates no electrical sparks or high heat, making it suitable for hazardous environments (Class I, Div 1 & Div 2 / ATEX equivalent) where flammable gases or volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are present.
Variable Speed Control: Speed and torque are easily fine-tuned by adjusting the compressed air supply pressure or using an inline air pressure regulator/throttling valve.
Stall-Safe Operation: Can be stalled indefinitely under heavy mechanical loads without overheating or damaging internal motor components.
Hub Mounting Configuration: The “NCC” model variant features a hub-mount design (as opposed to foot-mount or flange-mount) for direct inline attachment to gear reducers, drive shafts, or fluid agitators.
