Description

Gastec P-72-H Permeation Tube Ethyl Mercaptan

Gastec P-72-H (also cataloged as P72H) is a certified, high-emission Ethyl Mercaptan (C2H5SH / Ethanethiol) permeation tube engineered as a primary trace-gas generation standard for producing known, higher-concentration span gases of ethyl mercaptan vapor.

While standard-emission tubes are optimized for ultra-low trace concentrations, the H-suffix (High-emission) variant features elevated membrane permeability to deliver a higher nanogram-per-minute (ng/min) release rate. This makes it ideal for calibrating mid-to-high range gas analyzers, verifying high-range colorimetric detector tubes, and auditing industrial safety alarms.
