Description
Nitto Kasei NEOSEAL Standard Putty Series
Nitto Kasei NEOSEAL Standard Putty Series is a high-grade, non-drying sealing putty engineered for electrical insulation, weatherproofing, and cable/pipe penetration sealing in industrial, construction, and marine environments. Manufactured by Nitto Kasei Kogyo Co., Ltd., the NEOSEAL series (featuring popular formulations like NEOSEAL B-3, B-1, and B-3K) maintains permanent flexibility and adhesive tack over wide temperature ranges without cracking, hardening, or shrinking. It provides excellent vibration damping, water resistance, and electrical insulation for junction boxes, conduit ends, and wall penetrations.
Nitto Kasei NEOSEAL Standard Putty Series branded non-hardening putty is very popular with most users in Japan. Our sealing products have been widely used in many fields such as construction, shipping, and training, especially for public works, since we started manufacturing the sealing compound in 1956.
NEOSEAL B-3 is preferred extensively, and we also have NEOSEAL B-W(white putty), and NEOSEAL B-1(flame-resistant putty) for a variety of uses.
How to use Nitto Kasei NEOSEAL Standard Putty Series :
- Please clean the surface where the sealing products will be applied, and be free of drainage such as oil, water, and dust.
- The sealing products can be applied by hand work, and you can use a stick or suitable instrument to support your work.
- The remaining products should be stored with the surface covered by some wrap like plastic bag.
Technical Overview & Operation
The Nitto Kasei NEOSEAL Standard Putty Series consists of synthetic resin-based sealing compounds designed for long-term passive sealing against water, dust, gas, and environmental moisture.
Unlike conventional silicone or hardening sealants that solidify and degrade under vibration, NEOSEAL remains non-drying and permanently pliable. Workers can mold the putty easily by hand into irregular shapes, press it into pipe sleeves, or pack it around electrical cables inside terminal boxes. It forms a tight physical barrier that prevents moisture ingress and gas migration while allowing easy removal and re-entry during cable maintenance or network upgrades.
