When a columnar object (vortex generator) is inserted into the flow, the boundary layer separates from the surface and vortices called Karman vortex trains in the opposite direction of rotation are alternately generated in the rear flow. Features
New function SSP (Spectral Signal Processing) amplifier
It is a function that automatically adjusts to the optimum vortex flow rate measurement conditions immediately after the power is turned on. It eliminates the effects of pipe vibration and noise, accurately captures vortex signals even when the plant conditions change, and secures a stable output signal. By installing SSP, the stability in the vortex flow rate low flow rate region has also been significantly improved.
Full self-diagnosis function
By constantly monitoring fluid conditions, it analyzes vortex flow signal anomalies and displays self-diagnosis messages. This enables early judgment and response on-site. It is also useful for maintenance planning.
High precision
With the optimum adjustment of ± 0.75% (liquid) of the indicated value and ± 1.0% (gas, vapor) of the indicated value, SSP can always maintain high-precision measurement over a wide flow rate range.
Wide fluid temperature range
It can measure up to 450 ° C for high temperature and -196 ° C for extremely low temperature.
