Gast 1AM-NRV-63A Air Motor The compact and portable 1AM/1UP series offers variable operating speed and power output that can be adjusted to meet the precise needs of your application. Their air throttling and pressure control is not only cost effective over electric motor controls, but they also can be stalled or overloaded for long periods without damaging the motor. In addition to being a non-electrical device and cool running, Gast air motors are ideal for use in hazardous and extreme ambient temperature locations.

Maintenance & Operation Tips

Air Filtration & Lubrication: Requires clean, dry, and lubricated air. Run an air line Filter-Regulator-Lubricator (FRL) unit upstream. Standard operating requirement is typically 1–3 drops of oil per minute (using non-detergent ISO VG 32 or Gast air motor oil).
Exhaust Noise: Install a muffler on the exhaust port to reduce operational noise and prevent oil mist atomization into the immediate environment.
Repair Kits: Gast offers standard vane and seal replacement kits (e.g., K200 service kit) to easily rebuild worn units without replacing the entire housing.
