Wenglor OTM502C0002 Reflex Sensor Energetic

Wenglor OTM502C0002 Reflex Sensor Energetic the transmitter and receiver in these sensors are located in a single housing. The sensor evaluates transmitted light reflected back from the object. The output is switched as soon as an object passes the selected range.

Wenglor OTM502C0002 Reflex Sensor Energetic the transmitter and receiver in these sensors are located in a single housing. The sensor evaluates transmitted light reflected back from the object. The output is switched as soon as an object passes the selected range. Bright objects reflect more light than dark objects, and can thus be recognized from greater distances.

Applications

Detection of Palms in Disinfectant Dispensers with Reflex Sensors

Disinfection stations for hands are provided in public areas such as shops, schools, train stations, airports, football stadiums, gyms and many more to meet hygiene standards. The automated disinfectant dispensers have one inlet for each hand. Compact reflex sensors are installed in narrow areas for contactless detection of the hands. The disinfection cycle starts as soon as the sensor has detected that both hands are present. This hygiene measure can combat the spread of germs quickly, effectively and fully automatically.

Energetic Reflex Sensors

Reflex sensors check objects for presence, check stack heights or perform counting tasks. They are used when objects need to be detected without a defined background. For this purpose, they use red light or infrared light according to the energy principle.
