Description
Delta-Elektrogas CFK Burner Control System
Delta-Elektrogas CFK Burner Control System is designed to control gas burners in accordance with norm EN 746-2, for intermittent or continuous operation. Different versions are available and many parameters are configurable to have the best solution for every plant.
CFK burner control system is a device that ignites and monitors the flame in the industrial gas burners with continuous service, with a self-test function of the detection circuit.CFK is available with single control or double control for valves. Flame detection can be done via a single rod, two rods, or a UV cell. CFK burner control is suitable to work with field-bus communication.
Elettromeccanica DELTA, with its brands Elektrogas and Deltapumps, is a proud manufacturer of safety and control products for gas firing systems and fuel oil appliances, successfully installed in more than 60 countries in the world.
Technical Overview & Operation
Delta-Elektrogas CFK Burner Control System manages automatic burner operation by executing a programmed micro-controller sequence. Upon receiving a heat demand signal, the controller initializes the pre-purge timer to clear residual combustible gases from the combustion chamber.
Following pre-purge, the controller energizes the ignition transformer and opens the pilot or main safety gas solenoid valves. Internal flame detection circuitry reads signal currents from an ionization flame rod or a UV photo-sensor. If a stable flame is established within the safety time window ($T_s$), the ignition spark shuts off, and the system locks into continuous run mode. If flame failure occurs during startup or normal operation, the unit immediately cuts power to the safety shut-off valves within milliseconds, triggering a safety lock-out state with local visual diagnostics.
