KY?2403 is a KY series seal packing from Sakagami, designed for applications in hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. This type functions as a piston & rod seal, providing high sealing performance through a large cross-sectional design, ideal for various industrial machines, especially base cylinders and presses.

Features

  • NBR material (RN906) with FKM option for high temperatures, providing high wear resistance and reliability.
  • Large cross-section (7.5 mm thick) ensures stable sealing even under repeated pressure and stroke.
  • Multi-functional design suitable for use as both piston and rod seals—efficient and flexible.
  • Replaces conventional V-packing with better sealing, a more compact groove, and easy installation.
  • Supports various sizes—with numerous dimensional variations also available for smaller or larger cross-sections.

Applications

  • Used in hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders of industrial machinery, both pistons and rods.
  • Suitable for pressing applications and cushion die cylinders.
