Description Of TW Series Trailing Wire Flow Switch

TW Series Trailing Wire Flow Switch is a fluid flow switch designed to detect liquid flow in various industrial applications, especially in environments with liquids containing solids or semi-solids. Unlike conventional flow switches that use rigid paddles, this series utilizes flexible sensor wires that allow for reliable operation in liquid conditions with suspended particles or sludge.

  • SPDT Switch (Single Pole Double Throw)
    • 0 – 500V AC, 15A for high power applications.
    • Low voltage switch option (‘RL’ model) with gold contacts for low current applications or hazardous environments.
  • 1” BSP or NPT connections
    • Allows compatibility with various piping systems.
  • Corrosion Resistant Material
    • 316 Stainless Steel for high pressure applications.
    • Polypropylene for chemical applications and corrosive environments.
  • Seal-less Design with Magnetic Drive
    • Reduces the risk of leakage and improves long-term reliability.
  • Maximum Operating Pressure:
    • Up to 400 Bar (5800 psi) for stainless steel models.

  • Operating Temperature Range:

  • Manual Override (TW-H model only)
