Description
Maeda Koki MKCM Flow Signal Indicator
Maeda Koki MKCM Flow Signal Indicator model produced by Maeda Koki in Japan, Oil signal and Water signal Model MKCM has a function for detecting minimal flow. MKCM water signal manufactured with using acrylic tube is limited to the use of 80 ? or less. (Flow switch of the product is limited to the use of 60 ? or less.)
If you want to use the mixed oil of the like, lubricants, please note the “Aburaaka”. When the inside or within the fluid piping “garbage” and “iron powder” is mixed, there is a possibility that the ball (float) may not work. We hope the use of the filter or the like.
- It is the electric point of contact model rheoscope using the lead switch
- with protective cover
- i can appoint the operation flow quantity of the switch
Technical Overview & Operation
The Maeda Koki MKCM Flow Signal Indicator operates using a mechanical spring-opposed piston or flap mechanism coupled directly or magnetically to an electrical contact switch.
As liquid enters the inlet port, fluid pressure and velocity displace the internal piston/flap against a calibrated spring. Plant technicians can visually observe fluid movement, clarity, and bubble content through the toughened sight window. When the volumetric flow rate reaches or falls below the designated setpoint value, the mechanical displacement actuates the electrical microswitch contacts ($NO/NC$). This sends a discrete dry-contact signal to external alarm horns, PLC safety circuits, or trip relays, protecting expensive machinery against dry-running or cooling failure.
