Description

CS Instruments VA 500 it is possible to monitor your consumption and analyze your leakage flows with just one measuring device. Due to its design, it is also ideal for mobile measurements. Recording and reducing energy costs and CO2 emissions while increasing the sustainability of any compressed air system.

CS Instruments VA 500 Advantages

  •     Measurement of mass flow direct output of standard volume flow
  •     Highly accurate at small as well as higher flow rates
  •     Pressure and temperature are compensated by the thermal mass flow principle
  •     Quick and easy installation via a ½” ball valve
  •     No moving parts, thus low maintenance
  •     Vanishingly low-pressure drop due to vanishingly low blockage of the diameter
  •     Can be used for compressed air and non-corrosive gases such as nitrogen, oxygen, argon, helium, etc.

Features

  • Including temperature measurement
  • RS 485 interface, Modbus-RTU as standard
  • Integrated display for m³/h and m³
  • Applicable from 1/2” to DN 1000
  • Easy installation under pressure
  • ..20 mA analogue output for m³/h or m³/min
  • Pulse output for m³ or M-Bus (optional)
  • Inner diameter adjustable by means of keys
  • Flow meter can be reset
  • Adjustable by means of keypad on the display: Reference conditions, °C and mbar, 4…20 mA scaling, pulse weight

Applications

  • Underwater Noise Protection / Bubble Curtain
  • Efficiency-FAD analysis for compressors
  • Flow meters for professionals – optionally with ATEX approval
  • Flow meters for oxidizing gases
  • Consumption sensors and flow meters for inert gases
  • Flow meters for toxic and corrosive gases
  • Consumption meter for oxygen, hydrogen, carbon dioxide
  • Consumption meter for nitrogen in tire vulcanization
  • Consumption meter for gas measurement in the aerospace industry
  • Flow and consumption meter for gas measurement in the automotive industry
  • Consumption meter for gas measurement in metal processing
  • Consumption sensor for flow measurement of oxygen
  • Consumption meter for argon and nitrogen in chemistry
  • Nitrogen consumption measurement in the food industry
