Description of DOUBLE ACTION CONTROLLER ASCON X3 MODEL

ASCON X3 is a 1/8 DIN (48 x 96 mm) industrial controller designed for high-precision temperature and process control applications. As part of the Gammadue series, the X3 offers PID control with single and dual action (heat/cool) capabilities, as well as analog outputs for linear control or valve control. With features such as Auto/Manual switching, internal timer, and RS485 serial communication, the X3 provides flexibility and reliability in a wide range of industrial applications.

Advanced PID Control: Supports PID control with overshoot control, single or double action, as well as valve control without position potentiometer.
Universal Inputs: Accepts various types of input signals such as thermocouples (L, J, K, S, R, B, N, E), RTD Pt100, analog signals (0/4-20 mA, 0-10 V), and infrared sensors.
Flexible Outputs: Up to 5 digital outputs (relay, triac, SSR drive) and 1 analog output (0/4-20 mA or 0-10 V) for control or retransmission.
Additional Functions: Equipped with a built-in timer, start-up function, and storage capability for up to two setpoints selectable via keypad or digital input.
Serial Communication: RS485 port with Modbus RTU or JBUS protocol for integration with SCADA or PLC systems.
Ergonomic Design: IP65 protected front panel, clear dual LED display and easy-to-use keypad.
Safety and Reliability: Heater failure alarm feature with current transformer, keypad and output lockout to prevent unwanted operation.
